Myth : Knee replacement surgery lasts for 10 yrs only.

Today’s joint replacements last from 20 to 25 years and for many people, it lasts for a lifetime.The timeline of a replaced joint was limited due to the limitations of the older implants. Presently implants are manufactured for life long use, wear and tear. Fact: Modern-day pain management ensures that the patient does not feel any pain during surgery. Pre-anaesthesia is given before the surgery to provide a painless operation.Post surgery physiotherapy is started immediately to enable the mobility of the patient within 2 days.
